SHIPPING THINGS TO THE MAGIC
We are allowed one box shipped per stateroom only.
2)It must be the size of a records box and weigh no more then about 20-25 pounds he said.
3)No alcohol in boxes.
4)No food or drinks. This may cause the dogs to hit on your box and that would be a bad thing.
5)Label the box with your sailing vessel, sailing date, stateroom or ressie number and GTY status if you are unassigned still.
6) Make a packing list and put it in a sealed envelope and tape this to the box. Your list may or may not be read but it must have one. Write packing slip on the outside of the envelope.
7) If your box is hit on by the dog or choosen for addition screening they will open the list and the box and look through it. They will close it back and provided nothing bad is in it then it will be in your room as usual later after boarding.
These boxes will be coming on the ship with the crew mail amOng other things so they may be in the staterooms later then they were before as they are low priority in the scheme of things for Disney.

The lines at guest services get longer towards the end of the cruise, so make sure you get any business (paying tips, etc) done as early as possible. The same applies for shopping.
In the corridors on the ship, just look at the carpet to find out which way the back or front of the ship is - the anchor on the carpet is two-colored, the red points towards the back of the ship, the blue towards the front.
Don't leave "Disney Dreams" early. This is a "must-see" show, but at the end, don't join the people who leave before the final bows. There is still one more surprise to see.
Get a wake-up call everyday. It is Mickey Mouse calling!
Don't forget to bring a deposit for rebooking your next cruise while onboard!!!
extension cord with multiple outlets(though this must be a personal preferance cause I have never needed this)
They quit serving drinks at the eating establishments (except at the bar on the Family Beach) on Castaway Cay when they stop serving food (when the food outlets close at 2:00 P.M.) Make sure you have enough liquids to last the rest of the day unless you want to visit the bars (wow never noticed this either--2x's on CC and never saw this--I must not have been thirsty..LOL)
If you get a soda at any bar, you will pay. Save your soda drinking for dinner or take a stroll to Deck 9 to the drink station and get it yourself...that will save ya tons especially if you are a soda drinker.
Photos--bring your own digital and during photo ops..have the character escort take your photo..sometimes those come out as nice as Disney's....buy a few but take a lot of your own.
If you come in the night before, renting a car is easier and cheaper then taking Disney Transportation. One person can drop the family at the port w/the luggage and one can return the car to rental agency. While one is doing that the other can check the whole family in at Port. Just remember the one returning the car must have photo ID(DL) to gain access to the port. Also the one checking in should have spouses passport to check in. All in all this is a very easy and smooth process.
